In-Depth Project Journey

Following a severe storm event, our team was engaged to assess and restore a heavily damaged manufacturing facility for a confidential industrial client. The storm caused significant destruction to the building, including substantial damage to portions of the roof system, exterior wall assemblies, loading docks, and fire protection infrastructure. While several areas of the facility were heavily impacted, other portions remained structurally intact, requiring detailed evaluation to determine the most effective repair and replacement strategies.

Our scope included comprehensive damage assessment, structural analysis, and the redesign of compromised building systems and envelope components. Reconstruction efforts involved the replacement of roof structures, exterior wall systems, dock equipment, and fire protection systems, along with interior fit-outs in affected areas. In addition, two pre-engineered metal buildings on the site sustained extensive damage and were demolished to allow for full reconstruction.

Throughout the recovery process, coordination with the owner, contractors, and local authorities was essential to expedite permitting, support code compliance, and prioritize the restoration of critical operations. The project focused on returning the facility to full functionality while incorporating resilient design considerations into the rebuilt components.
